New KFC drive-thru restaurant to create 40 jobs
A new KFC drive-thru restaurant will create up to 40 new jobs at the expanding Nettleham Road Shopping Centre, Lincoln.
Taylor Lindsey has secured its first letting on the extension to its shopping centre to restaurant giant KFC, which has taken a lease on the restaurant and are due to open for the May Bank holiday weekend.

The 2,500 sq ft unit incorporates a 70-seat restaurant, takeaway and drive thru facility.
“This will be the first KFC drive-thru restaurant in Lincoln and will create up to 40 new fulltime and part time jobs,” said Matthew Marsden, of Marsdens Caterers of Sheffield Limited, the franchise operator, which also operates the KFC restaurant on Lincoln’s High Street. Along with 12 other KFC restaurants in the region.
Taylor Lindsey has also announced a letting to Pizza Hut, which is scheduled to open in the summer along with a further restaurant as yet unnamed.
Alastair Twell of Taylor Lindsey said, “We are very pleased to have secured two lettings to such major restaurant chains. The scheme has been successfully integrated into our adjoining development, the Nettleham Road Shopping Centre, and it enhances the attraction of the development. There has been a lot of interest in the site and we are confident that the restaurant will prove to be a great success.”
